Lou's passion is Medical Dosimetry and is the founder of Farraday Physics Consultants LLC.
Lou is a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (MDCB certified) with over 20 years of progressive Medical Dosimetry. Her experience working around the world includes spectacular cities such as Auckland, New Zealand, Toronto Canada, San Jose, California and Orlando, Florida.
Farraday Physics Consultants specialize in treatment planning using the Eclipse and Aria tandem, and is well-versed in all aspects of IMRT, SBRT, RAPID ARC and 3D treatment planning. All sites of the body are covered including complicated Head and Neck volumes, breast, abdomen, and prostate and brain.
Lou is also experienced in E-comp and Field in Field techniques for breast and whole brain treatments and image fusion with CT and MRI and PET scans. Lou is routinely asked to check cone beam images taken on the treatment unit to verify the daily treatment setup. Difficult patient setups on the CT scanner is often supervised by Lou under the direction of the Medical Oncologist when in the office.
Lou has excellent organization and communications skills when liaising with the Physicist and Medical Oncologist. She also ensures the therapists are involved when complicated treatment set ups are required.
